DRESS CODE

For our students’ safety and educational experience, our dress code is strictly enforced. The dress code is essential so instructors can see proper body alignment and placement.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Hair must be pulled back and out of the dancer’s face
    • No jewelry (stud earrings are permitted)
    • Wear a cover-up when entering and leaving the studio
    • Dance shoes should not be worn outside
    • Label all shoes, clothing, and bags
    • Must wear non-dance shoes when entering and exiting the facility (no bare feet)

18-24 Month Old Classes

  • Anything dancers can move comfortably in (no jeans)
  • Sneakers or barefeet

2-3 Year Old & 3-4 Year Old Classes

  • Black, pink, or purple leotard
  • Pink tights
  • Pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes

5-7 Year Old Ballet/Tap

  • Black, pink, or purple leotard
  • Pink tights
  • Pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes

5-7 Year Old Ballet/Jazz

  • Black, pink, or purple leotard
  • Pink tights
  • Pink ballet shoes and slip-on tan jazz shoes

5-7 Year Old Contemporary/Jazz

  • Any color leotard
  • Leggings or shorts with tights (not too baggy)
  • Slip-on tan jazz shoes

5-7 Year Old Jazz/Hip Hop

  • Any color leotard
  • Leggings or shorts with tights (not too baggy)
  • Slip-on tan jazz shoes and sneakers

Acro & Progressive Ballet Technique

  • Any color leotard or sports bra (no t-shirts)
  • Any color leggings or shorts
  • Bare feet

Ballet

  • Black leotard
  • Pink tights
  • Pink ballet shoes
  • Hair must be in a bun in the middle of the head (not to the side) with a hair net
  • No ballet skirts or shorts permitted

Jazz / Turns & Leaps / Contemporary

  • Any color leotard
  • Leggings or shorts with tights
  • Tan slip-on jazz shoes (socks or barefoot at instructor’s discretion)

Tap & Hip Hop

  • Anything dancers can move comfortably in (no jeans)
  • Black Tap Shoes for Tap
  • Sneakers for Hip Hop

Boys

  • T-shirt
  • Black pants or shorts (not overly baggy)
  • Black ballet shoes, black jazz shoes, or black tap shoes
